"I am not much of a yelper at all but I figured this new shop in Midtown Sacramento deserved a review.
This place is based in the DIG Music office which is in the Urban Hive building at 19th and H. It may be a bit hard to find for some but it's pretty easy for those of us that are familiar with Midtown. There is a lifesize figure of Louis Armstrong in there window so if you see that, you're there. I happen to live pretty close by so I'm very happy for another record store in the Midtown area.
The store is mainly used vinyl and memorabilia from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The place is nice, clean and organized which is always a big plus for me. They are very conservative on their grading of records. I purchased a Moody Blues 12" and a Black Sabbath 7"....but were graded as VG+ but they were for sure Near Mint. Lots of places don't even grade their records, let alone undergrade like this place does. They also have some other stuff in there such as 8 Tracks and I think I saw a few Laser Discs in there. Since this store is pretty new, I'm sure the inventory is still growing and growing. Worth it for sure, if you're in the area, check it out!
