NEWS:  Performer Chris Webster on medical leave… 

 Sacramento, Calif. - Independent record label DIG Music announces that singer/songwriter Chris Webster has been temporarily forced to cancel a number of her upcoming tour dates due to a throat ailment that has left her temporarily unable to sing.

All shows through mid-year 2008 have been cancelled while she undergoes treatment at San Francisco’s University of California Medical Center.  The treatment, for unilateral vocal fold paresis, is expected to take a couple of months, although actual recuperation time is uncertain.  Chris is hoping to be back singing for her fans as soon as she is able.

“I’m optimistic,” says Chris, “I have immense trust and faith that all will be okay.”
