This Latin super-group features a host of industry veterans who have literally shaped the sound of what has become known in America as "Latin Rock". Consisting of skilled players from Santana, Malo, Tower Of Power, Journey, and Sly and The Family Stone, VOLR sizzles with an impeccably tight horn section, blistering guitars and a slew of percussionists who bring back the fire and passion that originated in the Mission District of San Francisco in the 60's and 70's. Performances originating from the members of this amazing orchestra include the iconic Latino love song "Suavecito," Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man," as well as the Cesar Chavez Foundation signature track, "Song For Cesar," highlighted by the rousing guitar performance from Carlos' younger brother, Jorge Santana.
